Elysia

December 2015 - Present

Role: Co-Director, Level Designer

 

The brain child of Ryan Johnson, Elysia is a third person, 3D  adventure game with platformer elements. Inspired by JRPGs such as Final Fantasy and Legend of Zeda, Elysia was prototyped in Unreal Engine 3 and is on track to be released commercially in Unreal Engine 4.

 

Since the game has not yet been released for testing, only limited information can be provided at this time.

Push and Pull

January 2015 - May 2015 (Four Months)

Team Size: 35

Role: Level Designer

 

Push and Pull is a five level, 2.5D sidescrolling platformer that uses the elements of pushing and pulling to solve puzzles and navigate hazardous terrain.


I was the sole level designer for level 4 (screenshots below) and co-designer for level 1.

Submerged

April 2014 - May 2014 (One Month)

Team Size: 3

Role: Co-Level Designer, Co-Modeler

 

This game slice was built in Unreal Development Kit to be part of an exploration game where the player would be in a submarine uncovering a submerged city inspired by Venice.

 

The team of three compleated environment design together. Below are screenshots of my contribution, which included designing the level's overall layout.
